Cellphones that double & triple as music players, personal organisers and cameras are just the beginning. Theese are well on their way to becomming a remote control for our lives.
Smart handsets are already eingused by busy executives to retreive important documents from office computers halfway across the globe. They are handling email, programming set top boxes,and keeping an eye on the home surveillence system. Tourists lost in foreign capitals can now, with a GPS-equipped cellphone, locate themselves using on-screen maps. Millions of Japaneese already use their handsets as digital wallets.
Sofware makers are comming up with ways to lend mobile handsets some of the prime functions of a personal computer. One such program comes from EasyReach, a California based start-up, that enales users of smartphones such as Palm's Treo, which boasts of pc-like operating system,to search their pc's by keyboard. Punch a few more buttons and Easy reach users can e-mail retreived documents to whatever address they choose.

senso car

A swiss company has developed a concept car called 'senso' that measures the drivers biometric data and emits colours, sounds and fragrancesto make him attentive to driving. The sensory system comprimises a biometric watch, camera and computer. The biometric watch measures the drivers pulse rate, the camera checks his behaviour and the computer moniters his state of mind. When the computer detects fatigue, the seat vibrates to awaken the driver.

Soon interactive TV will let you interact with the show you are watching.for instance, if you are watching a show on gardening and would like more information about the planting techniques being discussed, you will need just hit a button on remote to pop up a page of more information.
interactive TV could run a viewer poll in a real time. cable and satellite companies are integrating interactive feaatures into their digital tv services. Recently, digital cable subscribers in New york participated in a poll by using their remote controls to answer questions that popped up on their TV screens.

radio wawes are known to break DNA& damage tissues. ways to reduce the risk include letting the earpiece touch your body so that the wawes are absorbed along torso & not concentrated at ear,calling the person on the cellphone back through landline,and avoiding use of pocket to carry the phone.
